Australia used-EV public-source gate · 2026-08-17

Do not sell a model/year card until the official route can carry it.

A pre-payment acceptance gate for software-continuity evidence cards: exact manufacturer route first, explicit missing fields second, and no cross-model inference.

Today’s bounded result: the existing Polestar 2 — 2022 route remains accepted. Candidate MG ZS EV — 2022 and Nissan LEAF — MY2023 cards are on Hold; no second vehicle card was invented from generic, current or other-model pages. MG and Nissan are source owners, not customers, partners or endorsers.

Polestar 2 — 2022
accepted_public_sampleExact Australia-facing 2022 manual route exists; bounded missing fields can be stated without borrowing another model/year.Keep the existing public sample; verify any real vehicle only through a separately authorised VIN/owner handover check.

MG ZS EV — 2022 candidate
hold_no_cardCurrent Australian pages describe generic iSMART and ownership processes, but the reviewed sources do not map them to a 2022 MG ZS EV route or expose a bounded exact-route software/update record.Require a current manufacturer-owned 2022 ZS EV manual/support locator and exact iSMART applicability evidence before accepting this route.
AU-EV-R03
Nissan LEAF — MY2023 candidate
hold_no_cardThe official launch article identifies MY2023 LEAF, while the reviewed current connectivity page names QASHQAI MY25 onwards and MY26 X-TRAIL rather than LEAF. Cross-model compatibility was not inferred.Require a manufacturer-owned Australian MY2023 LEAF manual/support route that establishes update, connectivity and used-owner fields before acceptance.

Ten deterministic acceptance rules

G01 · blocking

Exact route identity

Manufacturer-owned page names model and year/model-year route.

G02 · blocking

Official source minimum

At least two current/retrievable manufacturer-owned URLs for the exact route, unless one official manual hub supports all required fields.

G03 · required_field

Update evidence

Official release, bulletin, workshop or OTA route is identifiable; otherwise the field is explicitly missing.

G04 · blocking_for_service_claims

Connected-service applicability

App/service language is tied to the exact route; generic or other-model wording cannot be carried across.

G05 · required_field

Service term and charges

Complimentary period, subscription or unknown-charge state is recorded without promising continuity.

G06 · required_field

Network dependency

Technology/modem/network dependency is recorded or explicitly missing.

G07 · required_field

Used-owner handoff

Account, data and ownership-transfer route is exact-route evidence or explicitly missing.

G08 · blocking

VIN/hardware boundary

No hardware generation, installed version or working-state inference is made from public pages.

G09 · blocking

Support/security boundary

No fixed support end date or security-update term is claimed unless the source states it.

G10 · blocking

Commercial start gate

Written route list, accepted source coverage, scope, correction policy and cleared payment precede the delivery clock.

A fixed A$99 start gate

Free source triage

A$0

Submit five named Australian model/year routes and up to 20 manufacturer-owned URLs. Each route is labelled Accept, Hold or Reject/out of scope before payment.

Five-route evidence-card pilot

A$99

Starts only when five routes pass the written acceptance gate, scope/correction policy is accepted and payment clears. Target: two business days after the complete start gate.

If fewer than five routes pass: no five-route invoice or delivery clock; replace routes or stop.

Included: dated route cards, up to 20 official URLs, CSV, explicit missing/VIN-owner fields and one factual/source-link correction round. Excluded: diagnostics, account login, inspection, battery/mechanical/safety/roadworthiness assessment, recall/warranty/legal opinion, support-life forecast and valuation.

A page being live does not establish exact-route applicability. The current MG iSMART page is generic and model/trim-dependent. The current Nissan connectivity page names QASHQAI MY25 onwards and MY26 X-TRAIL; it was not carried across to MY2023 LEAF. The Nissan launch article establishes the MY2023 route only, not software continuity.

Boundary: public-source research and workflow labelling only. `Hold` means the reviewed sources cannot support the proposed card without unsafe inference; it does not mean a vehicle lacks a feature, update or service. No manufacturer, dealer, fleet or publisher was contacted. No email, DM, social comment or contact form was sent.
